Al-Qaeda to Supporters: ‘Overthrow’ Saudi Arabia Monarchy, Kill Christians and Jews

August 12, 2010

(ChattahBox)–An al-Qaeda spokesperson delivered a chilling recorded message to a jihadist website, calling on its soldiers within Saudi Arabia to topple the ruling monarchy and “seek help from Allah to kill” Christians, as well as “Carry your arms against Israel.” The U.S. embassy recently issued a warning to Americans in Saudi Arabia, of a threat of potential attacks against Westerners.

As reported by Bloomberg, an al-Qaeda spokesperson identifying himself, as Saeed al-Shihri, called for sympathetic officials working for the Saudi government, to “collect information on everything related to the Saudi royal family,” to overthrow them, while killing Christians and Jews. This new call to war, is a continuation of a previous al-Qaeda directive issued in June for jihadists to capture Christians and Saudi royalty.

“The al-Qaeda leader also called on its followers in the armed forces to attack Israel from northwestern Saudi Arabia. “Carry your arms against Israel, which is only few kilometres away from you,” al-Shihri said. “Whoever among you is a pilot should seek martyrdom in the skies of Palestine, and who works in the navy should aim his weapon at the Jews there.” […]

“You who work as guards for tyrants, princes, ministers or complexes where Christians live, or can reach them, seek help from Allah to kill them,” al-Shihri said in the recording. “Together, let’s overthrow the Al Saud family.”’

The legitimacy of the message recorded in Arabic could not be verified, but the recording was released on a website that carries al-Qaeda directives.
