Israel Preparing For Syria Attack Against Hezbollah Arms Depot

August 30, 2010

Syria (ChattahBox) – Syrian newspapers are reporting that Israel is preparing for an attack on depots and weapon factories belonging to Hezbollah in Syria.

Just days after Western countries began urging Syrian President Bashar Assad to refrain from interference in the coming Israeli – Palestinian Authority peace talks, European sources started to report an increase in military support along the Golan Heights and Mount Dov borders.

There have also been reported of unmanned drones being sent over Syria and Lebanon, two very bad signs. They both give credence to the reports of the coming strike.

If Israel does strike it is unlikely that Assad will keep his silence, or that serious retribution won’t be the result. With the failed peace talks last time around, the entire world is showing the strain. If they fall through again, a war could be on the horizon.
