Philippine Councilman Captured Own Assassin on Camera
January 4, 2011
(ChattahBox World News)—Imagine looking through the lens of your camera to find the face of your assassin staring back at you armed with a handgun and starting to fire. That what happened to Councilman Reynaldo Dagsa from Caloocan City in the Philippines, who snapped the photo that later helped to identify his killer, seconds before he was shot and killed. The grim death photo showing the gunman aiming and preparing to unload his pistol has been published in newspapers around the world.
The murder captured on film occurred just moments after midnight on January 1.
“A barangay councilman’s final act of taking his loved ones’ picture as the New Year arrived proved invaluable to investigators when the photograph he took also “captured” the gunman taking aim at him with a handgun.”
“Councilman Reynaldo Dagsa of Barangay 35 in Maypajo, Caloocan City, was just outside his home right after midnight of January 1.”
“He was taking a picture of his wife, daughter and an elderly female relative on Tuna Street when a suspected car thief he had sent to jail appeared from behind a parked car and fired at him.”
The gunman, Michael Gonzales, aka, Fubo was a known car thief out on bail, who was apparently angry at Councilman Dagsa for having him arrested.
Two other suspects at the scene acting as lookouts are still on the loose.
