T-Mobile has sued Starbucks following their deal with AT&T to allow AT&T customers to use Wi-Fi in their locations.

The problem is that T-Mobile set up the Wi-Fi spots in 7,000 Starbucks locations with their own money, and have a deal for exclusive Wi-Fi access rights in Starbucks stores until January 4, 2009.

The company stated Starbucks is guilty of breach of contract, as well as unfair competition and interference.

T-Mobile USA made their complaint on June 5 to the New York State Supreme Court in Manhattan.
