BP Losing Its’ Oil to Mother Nature?

July 27, 2010

U.S. (ChattahBox) – An interesting story from ABC today underlined a major problem to hit the already disastrous affects of the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico; the oil is disappearing.

In the beginning, oil crews were pulling out tens of thousands of oil a day, and now they are down to as little as 200. This isn’t because it is almost finished being cleaned…it is because it is disappearing from the water.

Or, at least, that is what appears to be happening.

What is actually the case is that the crude has been spilled into a ocean with 80° F water, under a 100° F sun, which managed to help the process of breaking it down.

It then dissipated and spread out along the Gulf, and it is making it harder to find and collect.

What does this mean? It is hard to say. The fear is moistly do to not knowing what the exact effects of this oil spill will be. With Mother Nature taking the crude back, as it were, there could be even bigger environmental problems on the horizon.
