Man Who Flees Police Receives 50 Traffic Violations

February 7, 2009

Florida (ChattahBox) – A man who fled police is being charged with fifty traffic violations, all stemming from a single day’s incidents.

Elvis Alonzo Barrett refused to pull over during a routine traffic stop, fleeing police, and causing a deal of property damage as he slammed into a fence, and a car.

Once he had finally stopped, police pulled him from his car, along with along with crack cocaine, and a pipe, which, if his behavior is any indication, he had been hitting pretty hard.

He is being charged with reckless driving, evading arrest, and the fifty traffic citations, which range from running a red light, to not wearing a seatbelt. “Elvis has now left the car.”

Wow, that is tough. I always wondered what could happen in a case like this. I guess now we know. Maybe this guy’s new business plan could be to write a book about how not to get 50 citations in a day!
