Florida (ChattahBox) – You think high school was hard for you? A twelve-year-old boy has caught the eye of the world, as he works towards high school and college degrees at Florida International University.

Sebastian Hanul Choi (referred to by his friends and family as ‘Sky’) is currently enrolled at FIU, taking courses in Chinese, physics, and calculus. He is also enrolled in high school courses, and set to graduate with his diploma a the end of the current semester.

The extremely gifted young man has been attending classes on and off since he was 10, when he took his first course.

“He’s really happy. It’s made it so much easier because I know he’s being challenged, I know he has room to grow,” his mother, Dana Choi, commented.

Sky has always shown an amazing amount of promise, especially in the world of academics. He has attended public, private, and finally home school, after it became clear that he wasn’t being challenged enough with a regular curriculum.

After skipping grades, and surpassing the limits of the home school system, he was finally enrolled at FIU, where he finally feels like he is getting the education he desires and needs.

“It’s a comforting experience. Almost like a routine. It feels like I know the place,” Sky explained.
