This was a win for her, as well as all other average-size women in the U.S.

For once, the winner of America’s Next Top Model was not an extremely skinny and unhealthy-looking woman.

Whitney Thompson was interviewed by the New York Post after winning, stating “I’ve kind of stood p for being full-figured my whole life.”

“I’m not going to lose 50 pounds, if someone asks me to do that, I’ll go to another agency.”

She is truly a voice to be heard against eating disorders and the idea that to be a top model, you have to be stick-skinny.

The 20-year old Whitney Tompson from Atlantic Beach, Florida is set to have her first spread in Seventeen.

She has also signed a modeling contract with Elite.
