Reports state that from Friday to Sunday, the new Indiana Jones film took in $101 million.

The film is expected to take in another $25 million on Monday, putting it in second place for films which opened on Memorial Day weekend.

It will stand only behind Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End which took in $139.8 million when it opened on Memorial Day a year ago.

This is the first Indiana Jones film in 19-years and starred Harrison Ford as Indy once again.

Indiana Jones saw increases in ticket sales as the weekend went along, making it clear that once people saw it, they told friends to go see it too.

Coming in second was The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian taking in $23 million.
