Call girl Ashley Dupre has broken her silence following the scandal she was involved in which ended with New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer stepping down from his post.<br /> .Washington (ChattahBox) – Call girl Ashley Dupre has broken her silence following the scandal she was involved in which ended with New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer stepping down from his post.

Dupre wrote on her MySpace blog, speaking out for the first time since the scandal.

She stated “Thank you all so much for taking the time to send me a bit of strength and inspiration via e-mail or comment. Your words have touched me, and I thank you for that. With all my heart, I love you guys!!! 🙂 ”

Back in March, Dupre became the center of national attention when it was known that she was the call girl hired by Eliot Spitzer.

Spitzer resigned as the governor of New York following the scandal.

Then, in April, she filed a $10 million lawsuit against the founder of Girls Gone Wild, Joe Francis over nude images being used from when she was just 17.

Dupre stated in the blog that she was in a “Thankful” mood.
