Mayor In Massachusetts Says There Was No Pregnancy Pact

The mayor of Gloucester, Massachusetts has come out and stated that there was no pregnancy pact by teenagers at Gloucester High School.  Washington (ChattahBox) – The mayor of Gloucester, Massachusetts has come out and stated that there was no pregnancy pact by teenagers at Gloucester High School.

Just last week, the news broke that 17 teenage girls became pregnant due to a pregnancy pact that they had formed.

It was speculated that the teenage girls, the majority under the age of 16, tried to get pregnant before the school year was over.

Compared to the number of pregnancies a year, ago, the pregnancies this year have increased 4 times over.

The Gloucester Mayor, Carolyn Kirk, has stated that the increase in pregnancies is similar to other cities, and that there is no evidence to support a pregnancy pact was formed.

This all comes as the rates of teenage pregnancies continues to rise in the U.S.
