Don Imus Comes To His Own Defense After Racist Comments

Radio personality Don Imus went on the air on Tuesday to try and explain himself following alleged racist comments he made in regards to the NFL player, Adam Washington (ChattahBox) – Radio personality Don Imus went on the air on Tuesday to try and explain himself following alleged racist comments he made in regards to the NFL player, Adam “Pacman” Jones.

He was talking with Warner Wolf on his radio broadcast when Wolf spoke as to how Adam “Pacman” Jones had been arrested six times.

When Imus heard this, he asked out of the blue, “What color is he?”

When Wolf replied that “He’s African-American,” Imus stated, “Well, there you go. Now we know.”

Imus has been trying to defend himself ever since, and did so by stating that he was just making a sarcastic comment.

He stated “they arrest black people in this country for no reason. That’s all. And that’s what people should be outraged about.”

This comes just months after he was fired for making racist comments towards the Rutgers womens’ basketball team.
