The auction was to help charity and raised $187,750.

Gandolfini was in attendance at the Christie’s auction on Wednesday.

The charity being helped was the non-profit Wounded Warrior Project, which helps wounded soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The highest bid was at $43,750 for a costume which was stained in blood.

The actor wore it in a scene when Tony was shot by Uncle Junior.

The money raised by the auction is way above what was initially expected.
