Credits In Dark Knight Will Pay Tribute To Heath Ledger

It has been confirmed that the late actor, Heath Ledger, will be getting a tribute for his work on the sequel to Batman Begins, The Dark Knight.Washington (ChattahBox) – It has been confirmed that the late actor, Heath Ledger, will be getting a tribute for his work on the sequel to Batman Begins, The Dark Knight.

Heath Ledger plays one of the villains in the movie, the infamous Joker.

At the conclusion of The Dark Knight, the credits will role, and Ledger will be honored along with special-effects technician Conway Wickliffe, who was killed in a stunt-car accident in September 2007.

The tribute in the credits will read “In memory of our friends Heath Ledger & Conway Wickliffe.”

Ledger’s character, the Joker, will be going up against the hero Batman, played by Christian Bale.

The movie opens in theaters on July 18, with the marketing campaign around it heavily relying on Ledger’s character.

Heath Ledger died back in January from an accidental overdose of prescription drugs.
