When the crew of the show arrived at the house of Louis William Conradt back in 2006, the man flipped and shot himself. This was followed by a lawsuit brought by the family.

Back in November 2006, Conradt, an assistant district attorney from Texas, was shocked when the crew from NBC’s To Catch a Predator showed up at his door along with police.

They arrived on the scene to arrest the man, who was apparently trying to solicit a minor over the Internet.

When this happened, Conradt decided to shoot himself before he could be arrested.

His sister acted on his behalf and filed a $105 million lawsuit against the NBC television network.

U.S. District Judge Denny Chin in Manhattan stated on Tuesday the case was settled. Both parties are apparently satisfied with the result.
