Jordin Sparks Talks About Her VMA Comments

Jordin Sparks has come out and tried to explain herself in regards to her controversial comment she made during the MTV Video Music Awards this past Sunday.........Boston (ChattahBox) – Jordin Sparks has come out and tried to explain herself in regards to her controversial comment she made during the MTV Video Music Awards this past Sunday.

Jordin Sparks made a comment during the MTV VMAs aimed at Russell Brand.

She stated “It’s not bad to wear a promise ring because not everybody, guy or girl, wants to be a slut.”

Since then, she the former American Idol winner has tried to explain herself.

The 18-year old Sparks spoke to Entertainment Weekly, and stated that she should have “worded it differently.”

She stated that she obviously cannot take it back at this point.

“It was a split second thing, and it came out kind of wrong.  Still I don’t regret it.”

She stated she had nothing against Russell Brand for his comments made.
