MTV To Kill Off TRL After A Decade Of Being On The Air

MTV has announced that their hit show, Total Request Live (TRL) is going to be retired after a 10-year run.....Hollywood (ChattahBox) – MTV has announced that their hit show, Total Request Live (TRL) is going to be retired after a 10-year run.

TRL will have its final episode in November, according to executive producer Dave Sirulnick.

TRL has been used for a decade now as a platform to launch new music videos, and to bring in big music acts.

In November, MTV is going to have a two-hour TRL finale on a Saturday.

TRL began back in 1998, and was originally hosted by Carson Daly.

The show is going to be replaced with Feedback New MTV.
