Mad Men Makes History At The Emmy Awards

Made Men made history at the 60th annual Primetime Emmy Awards, as it became the first basic cable show to win the award for best drama.<br /> ...Washington (ChattahBox) – Made Men made history at the 60th annual Primetime Emmy Awards, as it became the first basic cable show to win the award for best drama.

Mad Men, which airs on TMC, has enjoyed a great deal of success and praise, which will now only continue after its big Emmy success.

On top of that, 30 Rock also performed well taking in 4 Emmy Awards.

It won for best comedy series for the second year in-a-row.

Best actor in a drama series went to Bryan Cranston for Breaking Bad.  Best actress went to Glenn Close for Damages.

Best reality competition program went to The Amazing Race, beating out American Idol, and Dancing with the Stars.
