She reprised her role as Palin in the opening sketch of the show, which she also did during the season premiere a few weeks ago.

Tina Fey was teamed up with Amy Poehler, who played the role as CBS’s Katie Couric, instead of Hillary Clinton.

Poehler’s Kouric asked Fey how she would bring about democracy.  Fey’s Palin replied by saying, “Katie, I’d like to use one of my lifelines…I want to phone a friend.”

Tina Fey, despite having a full-time role on NBC’s 30 Rock, simply can’t get away from the Palin character on SNL.
