Beverly Hills Chihuahua rocketed to the top of the box office in its debut weekend, proving that it has some serious bark........Washington (ChattahBox) – Beverly Hills Chihuahua rocketed to the top of the box office in its debut weekend, proving that it has some serious bark.

The new Disney film had a major debut, raking in a total of $29 million in its opening weekend.

Coming in second was Eagle Eye, starring Shia LaBeouf, which took in $17.7 million.

Nights in Rodanthe also did well with $7.3 million, as did Appalossa at $5 million.

The other big debut was Nick and Nora’s Infinite Playlist, which took in $12 million.

There were a few other debuts, such as An American Carol, Blindness, and Flah of Genius, but all did not do as well.
