The pair set the world record for continuous movie watching as they sat through 57 films in-a-row.

They watched the films from within a plastic-glass house in New York’s Times Square.

A spokesman for the Guinness World Records has stated that it seems they have broken the record.

It will take a few weeks though before they can make it official that it was broken.

There were 8 people going for the record, which started on October 2nd.

There were only two contestants left at 3:10 p.m. on Tuesday.

The first film watched included Iron Man, while the last film was Thelma and Louise.

They were allowed only 10-minute breaks between movies, and had to keep their eyes open and on the screen.
