The Foo Fighters have come out and attacked Republican presidential candidate John McCain for using their song Hollywood (ChattahBox) – The Foo Fighters have come out and attacked Republican presidential candidate John McCain for using their song “My Hero” during rallies.

The Foo Fighters have stated that McCain has been using their song without their permission.

This is not the first time McCain has ran into some serious trouble, as Jackson Browne sued McCain for using the song “Running on Empty” without permission.

The band put out a statement saying, “The saddest thing about this is that “My Hero” was written as a celebration of the common man and his extraordinary potential.”

“To have it appropriated without our knowledge and used in a manner that perverts the original sentiment of the lyric just tarnishes the song.”

The running mate of McCain, Sarah Palin, also recently got in trouble for the use of the song “Barracuda” by Heart.
