Republicans Spent Over $150,000 To Make Palin Appealing

Sarah Palin may try to show us that she is an average working mom on the campaign trail, but she is far from it.

The news has been released that Republicans spent $150,000 on her wardrobe, as well as wardrobe for her family to make her look good.

All of the shopping was done in September just as she was announced as the vice presidential nominee to run with Republican candidate John McCain.

The RNC had to list their expenditures in its September and October filings with the Federal Election Commission.

What they found was that $75,000 was spent in New York and Minneapolis at Neiman Marcus, followed up by another $50,000 being spent at Sak’s Fifth Avenue, and $5,000 at Bloomingdales.

When you take a step back, it is clear that these are not clothes your average working mother would weara.

This is 75 times more than the average Americans spend on clothes each year.

On top of that, $5,000 was spent on the hair and make-up of Palin.

With poll numbers showing Obama pulling away, this is not going to help Palin look like the average working mother.
