November 20, 2008

London (ChattahBox) — A new report offers an explanation for Winona Ryder’s sudden illness on a Boeing 747 that was forced to make a “priority landing” to rush the star to the hospital.

The 37-year-old actress who was sitting in first class on the ten-hour flight, collapsed twice on a British Airways flight from Los Angeles to Heathrow yesterday.

The UK Sun now claims the it was an accidental overdose of Xanax caused the actress to turn a “deathly shade of pale” before fainting. It is believed that Winona took the pills to treat her fear of flying.

She was checked into Hillingdon Hospital under an alternate identity, and reportedly her stomach was pumped. she was discharged a few hours later and then flew to another European city.
