Reality dawns on OctoMom Nadya Suleman?

March 21, 2009

Mother of 14 , Nadya Suleman who just brought home two of her eight recent babies, has been giving daily video blogs to and admits things aren’t exactly as lovely as her deluded dreams imagined.  Suleman says while playing with Isaiah — who came home on Wednesday — and another of her 14 children.

“I’m using denial, it’s a defense mechanism. I keep telling my head and rationalizing over and over that next week that [interest in my life] is going to die down.”

Suleman in the 6-minute video, ironically says she can’t wait for the publicity to die down. Then seems to fan the flames including taking a shot at her mom, Angela, who has been critical of her daughters decisions:

“The truth about my mom will come out eventually,” she says. “She’s my mother…I respect her, I love her. She dismisses and disrespects every single thing I say for years and years. I do believe she cares about her grandchildren, but she doesn’t want anything to do with the babies.”

She admits that without the public interest in her, and resulting payments for her story, “I would have been forced to get assistance until I completed school,” Suleman says.

Apparently she’s prepared to continue to capitalize on the public interest:

“My goal is to write a book and everything will be disclosed in that,” she says.

I guess that’s when the ‘supposed’ truth will come out about her mom as well.

Interesting how her big admissions always make her seem heroic somehow, ( sociopath). She’s in denial alright – about being a child abuser and exploiter. Maybe her mother doesn’t want to have anything to with the children because she doesn’t want her heart broken when they are taken away. As for Suleman, I don’t think she has a heart. She is the most self absorbed, selfish, cruel and pathetic person to have ever grabbed the spotlight. Her capacity for parenting is below zero. She talks about going to school like an 18 year old. Maybe she’ll even live in a dorm – see her kids on weekends when she brings her laundry home. These are some extremely unfortunate children.

I completely agree with you Portlyric, and I am very concerned as to the welfare of all 14 of these children as long as they are in “her house”. I think her new admissions are her new ploy to gain sympathy as the vitriol against her continues to build. Sorry, Nadya, I DO NOT BELIEVE A WORD THAT COMES OUT OF THOSE LIPS…..We know you are only concerned with yourself.
