Winnie on “The Wonder Years” – Danica McKellar has married her longtime boyfriend

(ChattahBox) — Former The Wonder Years childhood star Danica McKellar has married her longtime boyfriend this past weekend in a romantic ceremony near the ocean. Danica who famously played Fred Savage’s sweetheart Winnie Cooper on the hit 1980s TV show, married film and TV composer Mike Verta on Sunday at La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club in front of 150 guests. McKellar, 34, and Verta, 36, have dated for nearly 8 years. Danica is the author of two New York Times bestsellers, Math Doesn’t Suck, and Kiss My Math, which encourage and empower middle-school girls with mathematics know-how. Verta is an accomplished music composer who also came up with the titles and designed the covers for both of Danica’s books.
