Critically Ill Farrah Fawcett Facing Her Last Days As Cancer Treatment Ends

May 7, 2009

US (ChattahBox) – In a highly personal interview with People Magazine, Ryan O’Neal has opened up about his experiences along long time partner, Farrah Fawcett, who has been battling cancer for the last two years.

The interview came alongside a documentary Farrah herself created about her battle, and the devastating news that her cancer had returned.

“It’s a love story. I just don’t know how to play this one. I won’t know this world without her,” O’Neal confided tearfully. “Cancer is an insidious enemy.”

O’Neal has been Farrah’s caretaker since she was first diagnosed with colon cancer, and while they had originally been hopeful that she would win the war, it seems as though the battle may have taken everything she has.

“She stays in bed now,” O’Neal said.

“The doctors see that she is comfortable. Farrah is on IVs, but some of that is for nourishment. The treatment has pretty much ended.”

The documentary Farrah’s Story is set to air on NBC on May 15th.

what a failure, billion of dollars and tens of thousands of researchers and we see the results of failure every day, and here is another.

Your Government spends only millions for research on the Cancer killer not Billions.

We would rather spend our Billions chasing terrorist, Cancer kills more people
in 1 day the Terrorist kill in a year.

1500 die per day from colon cancer alone.

The real terrorist is Cancer and Govt doesn’t support research because there is no profit there.

The numbers and statistics quoted are not correct and display a political bias and agenda. When cancer or any disease affects one personally it never seems enough is being done. Though more could always be spent and more effort committed the government funded efforts ought to be lauded, not misrepresented.

Fawcett’s documentary is moving to say the least; she’s going out in a way that she should should be proud of
