Susan Boyle finishes second in ‘Britain’s Got Talent’!

May 30, 2009

(ChattahBox) — To me it was nothing ventured nothing gained in the case of Susan Boyle who finished second to the ten-person dance crew Diversity on Britain’s Got Talent .

Boyle chose to sing the same song  (video below) that first brought her fame, “I Dreamed a Dream.” We all know how beautifully she can sing that song, but at least I was hoping to see her show she could wow us again with something new.  Perhaps playing it safe left the audience feeling the same way. In a post-performance interview, she said she still “hopes to get an album out,” but as to the immediate future, “Who knows? I’ll play it by ear.”

Congratulations to Diversity (performance below) who won 100,000 pounds and gets the honor of performing before Queen Elizabeth II in the Royal Variety Show in December.
