Singer Kenny Rankin has died of lung cancer

(ChattahBox) — Singer-songwriter Kenny Rankin has died of lung cancer at the age of 67, a spokesman for his record label has announced.

Mack Avenue Records spokesman Don Lucoff told the AP that Rankin died Sunday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

In a career spanning 35 years, Rankin’s warm singing style and his soft, nylon-stringed guitar sound brought joy to so many.

He will be missed. Rest in Peace Kenny!!
