DEA brought in to Michael Jackson investigation – funeral plans solidifying

July 2, 2009

(ChattahBox) — With all the allegations that have emerged that Michael Jackson, had been consuming painkillers, sedatives and antidepressants the federal Drug Enforcement Administration is now joining the investigation into the 50-year-old entertainer’s death.

The circumstances surrounding Jackson’s death last week have become a federal issue, with the DEA asked to help police take a look at the pop star’s doctors and possible drug use. Multiple TMZ sources say that Jackson’s body had dozens of injection sites all over his body. And because he was suffering from severe insomnia, Jackson also allegedly became dependent on the potent drug Diprivan (also known as Propofol), which is used to induce unconsciousness in pre-op patients. Diprivan is not intended for private use, so this may be one of the many avenues the DEA explores. Jackson also allegedly used a slew of aliases to get his hands on all those prescription meds.

There’s no official statement yet, but sources are saying the world will get chance to say its goodbyes to the late King of Pop at 10am, Tuesday July 7 th at LA’s ‘Staples Center.’ The service will also engage the Nokia theater, situated next door, plus the vast open plaza that surrounds the two venues. How tickets will be sold is still unknown at present but rumors are they will go for $25 a piece.

Diprivan is in essence the modern replacement for pentothal. It is pure and simple an anesthesia induction agent. Anesthesia suppresses a person’s ability to breathe, among other things. That is why it is NEVER given without a trained physician or nurse present who controls it milligram by milligram. Home administration is virtually guaranteed to cause death. All the rest of the media verbiage is obfuscation. All those other drugs being abused only speak to the level of mental and pharmacologic deterioration. What a mess. What tragedy. What dangerous foolishness on Mr. Jackson’s part.
