Godfather of Michael Jackson’s kids claims paternity of Paris

August 9, 2009

(ChattahBox) — The British tabloid, News of the World, which often comes out with sensational feature weekend scoop, like Michael Phelps Bong Gate, has struck again with quotes from Jackson’s longtime friend and godfather of his three children, Mark Lester, as saying that he “gave Michael my sperm so that he could have kids — and I believe Paris is my daughter.” He says in the video interview:  ‘In 1996 Michael asked me if I would give him my sperm and I said yes. It was a gift to him, no money was paid, it was something I was honored to do. He wanted children so badly.’

Lester fits the profile of the boys Michael was drawn ‘to be friends with’. Jackson apparently contacted the now 51-year-old former child star known for his lead role in the 1968 movie version of “Oliver!,” 27 years ago to meet him. The Daily Mail speculates Jackson may have been unable to use his own sperm because he was taking a ‘chemical castration’ drug Depo Provera, to suppress his sexual urges towards young boys.

In the interview with Lester broadcast on the News of the World Web site here, Lester now an osteopath and acupuncture specialist, said he donated his sperm at a London clinic, during the time Jackson was married to Debbie Rowe.

A father of four himself, he said Paris resembled his own 15-year-old daughter Harriet, and is willing to take a paternity test to prove she is his daughter. Lester said he had made the revelations because he has “concerns about the welfare and upbringing of the children.”

“It’s a contact issue,” he said on the video. “I dearly want to remain in contact with those kids and I feel now this is the only way I can ensure that.”
