Angry George Clooney sues over invasive photos taken inside his home

August 15, 2009

(ChattahBox) — George Clooney is springing into action after an invasive paparazzo took private photos at the actor’s Italian home.  Clooney said a 13-year-old teen was changing in one of his guest rooms when the photographer climbed up on a wall and took her pictures. He claimed that the photographer also took shots of him enjoying private moments with his 30-year-old Italian girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis. The photos eventually appeared in two tabloids, and George is now rightfully angry and planning to sue:

“We’re suing two magazines and a photographer. I don’t know about the law in the United States but in Italy it’s illegal for photographers to climb over wall to take long lens pictures of a 13-year-old girl in her bedroom. I draw the line of privacy at that,” the actor was quoted as saying, by TMZ.

Anyone who takes pictures of a person who is in its own home needs to have permission. And I cannot understand why any magazine would want to publish such private pictures, especilly considering the young girl….
    You go George!
