Dom Imus Strikes Deal With FOX For Business Show

September 3, 2009

US (ChattahBox) – We reported last month that Don Imus was close to striking a deal with FOX to begin a simulcast on their business network. Today it was announced that the deal has been made.

Imus will begin his “Imus In The Morning” simulcast on October 5, which will run from 6 AM – 9 AM Ea.

The deal isn’t that surprising. After all, FOX is known for giving airtime to hosts that will be able to boost ratings, and that is often done due to their sometimes inflammatory, but often controversial, views and ways of speaking.

Imus is sure to make a suitable addition to the network. If you remember, he was fired last year for referring to the Rutger’s all-women basketball team as ‘nappy headed hoes’.

Imus was also known earlier in his career for his pranks and outrageous behavior as a radio DJ in California.

In any case, we are sure to be hearing more about him in the coming months. Probably around the time the next controversy hits, and FOX chooses to ignore it.

Imus will fit right in. He can sit next to Beck.

Glad to hear Imus is going to be on Fox. People should remember all the CHARITY work that he and his wife does. I would watch his show no matter what network it was on. YOU GO IMUS.
