Released FBI Report Shows Anna Nicole Smith Was Investigated For Murder Plot

October 7, 2009

US (ChattahBox) – The late Anna Nicole Smith was investigated for a plot to kill the son of her oil tycoon husband, a released document by the FBI shows.

According to the report, Smith was questioned in 2000 about her involvement in a possible plot to kill her much older step-son, E. Pierce Marshall.

The two were in a bitter dispute over who should have the majority of the fortune left behind by Marshall Sr. He and Smith met when she was working as a stripper, and married shortly after. The 89-year-old died just over a year later. Nicole was 27.

Police allegedly began investigating Smith for her possible involvement in a hire-to-kill plot against Marshall Jr., but nothing ever came of the case. No real evidence could be found against her, and it is not clear how they came across the allegations in the first place.

Some of the stranger details of the investigation is the fact that Smith had her home raided by police, and a handgun, steel knife, and an orange and black striped hat, referred to in the report as ‘Dr. Seuss’ were all taken. They were later returned.

Smith’s estate lawyer claims to know nothing about the case, and seemed surprise to hear about it. The attorney for the Marshals, now representing the son’s widow after his death a year before Smith, declined to comment.

It’s good to see that the FBI can actually do something. Apparently they couldn’t be bothered to do their sworn job when it came to protecting an 11 year-old little girl. And finding the child pornographer living in that home. Even though they had the child’s computer as evidence, and they were able to tell her dad what section of federal law was violated. But because the child’s’ mother was their suspect they refused to do any investigation…. I was succinctly told “Sorry, you’re a MAN and we just can’t help you…” But hey when it comes to investigating a murder plot rumored to have been orchestrated by a dead woman, well then their right on your doorstep aren’t they? Too bad they couldn’t have figured this one out before she DIED!

I also read recently where you were able to help Wynonna with HER issues concerning a child pornography scare, and HER children.

Enjoy all the good press with that, and make sure you point that out to congressional budget hearings when ever you can.

Meanwhile, my child’s innocence has been lost forever. THANKS FOR DOING YOUR SWORN JOB SO COMPETENTLY!
