IRS wants to meet w/ Nicolas Cage who is reportedly millions in debt

October 9, 2009

(ChattahBox) — It looks like actor Nicolas Cage may have some serious money issues. He is facing two major lawsuits – In one, East West Bank claims Mr. Cage has missed six month’s repayments on a $2-million line of credit they gave him in 2007, and they want it paid back…In full. Right now!

And if that’s not enough fun, the IRS is demanding a sit-down with the 45-year old actor to discuss $6-million in back taxes the dude also owes. TMZ says the boys at the Service have just filed a tax lien that shows the “National Treasure” actor owes them $6,257,005 in back-taxes – from 2007 alone!

And his pain doesn’t even end there: Another tax lien shows Nic also owes money from three other years; In 2002 he forgot to pay $70,190.05 in just income tax. In 2003 it was $179,738,23, and in 2004 the sum was $110,617.56.

Which brings the grand total to an insomnia-inducing $6,617,550.84….plus the bank’s bill.

Not surprisingly, Nic’s reps had no comment.

Tax evasion is punishable by everything from fines to jail time.

Wow, isn’t he paid like $10 million or more per movie?? Makes you wonder where all his money went if he having trouble paying all this stuff. Sounds like he needs a new financial adviser!
