Jon Stewart on Hannity’s Show: ‘Nothing’s Worth Sitting Through This’

November 13, 2009

(ChattahBox)—Jon Stewart is on a comedic roll lately, providing his viewers with hilarious take downs of Fox News and its assorted right-wing hosts, such as Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck. Earlier in the week Stewart caught Sean Hannity using footage from the D.C. 9/12 protest held in September, while interviewing the wacky Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) about her recent, anti-health care reform tea party rally on the steps of the Capitol. Bachmann’s so called capitol house call rally drew considerably fewer protesters than the earlier 9/12 rally, but Bachmann and Fox News attempted to exaggerate the numbers in attendance.

After Stewart’s segment, Hannity apologized for the mistake and hilarity ensued when Stewart aired a segment watching Hannity’s show waiting for the apology.

During the segment Stewart is in his pajamas with snacks and a teddy bear, and his head practically explodes, after he is forced to watch Hannity’s altered reality and nightly montage of catastrophic end of the world scenarios, new world order conspiracy theories and anti-Obama rhetoric.

After Stewart’s teddy bear hanged himself rather than sit through another minute of Hannity’s show, Stewart exclaimed, “nothing’s worth sitting through this.”
