January 18, 2010

(ChattahBox) – Simon Cowell made an announcement last week that he was leaving American Idol after this season, but despite the rumor only recently being confirmed La Toya Jackson is already itching to take his place.

According to TMZ, Jackson was talking to Nigel Lythgoe about being a guest judge before Simon said he was leaving for good to co-produce American version of ‘The X Factor”.

But now she would like to extend that contract a bit further.

“I would love to be a judge on ‘American Idol.’ I would love to have a chance for the public get to know the real me. I would be thrilled.”

But if she did get on the crazy would be well balanced between the two talent shows. Rumor has it Simon has asked Paula Abdul to judge on ‘The X Factor”.
