Jillian Michaels Faces Another Lawsuit

February 17, 2010

(ChattahBox) – Jillian Michaels, one of the personal trainers on TV hit ‘The Biggest Loser’ is being sued again.

According to Kathy Hensley, who has filed a class action lawsuit against Michaels and companies Thin Care and Basic Research, the main ingredients in the Jillian Michael Maximum Strength Fatburner pills are “potentially toxic”

She claims that citrus aurantium, the main ingredient active in the pills, is known for causing high blood pressure heart problems.

Her lawsuit does not appear to have anything to do with money, as she is asking for less than $5,000.

The case has been filed with the L.A. County Superior Court.

This is the third lawsuit against the weight loss drug.

There’s an interesting post over at the Health Journal Club that makes the case that people should just not eat anything that wasn’t a food 100 years ago. Gets rid of the aspartame, bleached GM flour, high fructose corn syrup garbage they try to pass off as food these days. If interested you can read on it here,
