Tiger Woods Announces More Therapy After Apology

February 19, 2010

(ChattahBox) – Tiger Wood, the shamed golf legend who was caught in a ridiculously long string of affairs last year, is set to make a statement and official apology this morning. But then it is back to rehab.

According to PGA sources who released an official statement, he is making the statement now because he is on a week long break from his sexual addiction rehab.

“As we understand it, Tiger’s therapy called for a week’s break at this time during which he has spent a few days with his children and then will make his statement before returning. Accordingly, there was very little flexibility in the date for the announcement,” the statement said.

The apology will be aired live on television, but only a few media sources will be allowed to attend.

This decision has sparked controversy, as all other journalists will be required to view the statement from a mile away and will be unable to ask their own questions.

Of those allowed at the scene are AP, Reuters, Bloomberg, and only six members of the GWAA.

“To limit the ability of journalists to attend, listen, see, and question Woods goes against the grain of everything we believe,” theGolf Writers Association of America said in an official objection on the decision.
