LL Cool J Says He Didn’t Do A Sit Down Interview With Palin

March 31, 2010

US (ChattahBox) – Apparently, we were not the only ones confused by the announcement that LL Cool J would be featured on Sarah Palin’s new show, ‘Real American Stories’. The rapper turned actor doesn’t remember giving it, either.

LL Cool J came out on his Twitter account to comment on the fact that an interview with him was set to be a feature on Palin’s new program.

“Fox lifted an old interview I gave in 2008 to someone else & are misrepresenting to the public in order to promote Sarah Palins Show. WOW”

Apparently, the interview was done for someone else in 2008, though the ownership does belong to FOX.

It was originally posted on the Real American Stories site, which was a project created before Palin, but it has since been removed, presumably to reduce embarrassment for the new host, who LL was obviously not feeling very supportive of.

It is also assumed that the segment will be removed from the first airing of the show, though who they will replace it with is unknown.

Well, this is no real surprise. Remember, Fox is the only network that has ever gone to court to win a ruling that they are permitted to present outright lies as “news” items.

See http://www.relfe.com/media_can_legally_lie.html for the full story of the Fox case.
