Nicollete Sheridan Files Lawsuit Against ‘Housewives’ Producer, Says He Hit Her

April 6, 2010

(ChattahBox) – Drama on Wisteria Lane, only this time it is real. Former ‘Desperate Housewives’ actress Nicollete Sheridan is suing Marc Cherry for assault and wrongful termination.

According to Sheridan, she asked him about a line in the script in 2008, and he proceeded to pull her to the side of the set and in her in the face.

She retreated to her trailer and he came ‘begging for forgiveness’, which she did not give; she reported the incident to ABC, which she says led to her being written off the show.

Shortly after making the incident report, Cherry is alleged to have retaliated by having her character die in a car crash, and effectively firing Sheridan from the show.

It is a long line of complaints of aggressive behavior and hostility in the workplace against Cherry, who has been reported to ABC executives several times.

Sheridan says in the affidavit that he even said he hoped Teri Hatcher died from being hit by a car when she also went to executives to complain about his abusive behavior.

The lawsuit is suing for $20 million in damages, and also cites ABC as a defendant.

This lawsuit has definitely got her in the spotlight, hasn’t it? I can’t believe she’s 47 and she still has a hot body. I read here ( about her diet and it now makes sense.
