Diff’rent Strokes star, Gary Coleman has died

(ChattahBox) – Little Gary Coleman has passed away at the tender age of 42. He was taken off life support on Friday morning and passed away, reports TMZ. The actor suffered a head injury after a fall Wednesday according to Coleman’s brother-in-law and Gary had been on life support since Thursday.   His wife Shannon Price , made the decision to pull life support early this AM.  Family members and close friends were gathered at Coleman’s side as he slipped away.The chubby faced childhood star enraptured the world as ‘Arnold Jackson’ in the 1980’s sit-com “Diff’rent Strokes.” In recent years Coleman has had a string of health, marriage, financial and legal problems.  On the health front he has suffered kidney disease since he was a child and has had kidney transplants and ongoing dialysis.  Last fall, Coleman had heart surgery that was complicated by pneumonia, and most recently was hospitalized after suffering a seizure on the set of The Insider in February.  Rest in peace, Gary.
