Families are set to make their case to a federal court that the mercury-based preservative thimerosal, found in many vaccines, leads to autism...New York (ChattahBox) – Families are set to make their case to a federal court that the mercury-based preservative thimerosal, found in many vaccines, leads to autism.

In total, there have been around 5,000 claims from families that the mercury-based preservative caused the development of autism in their kids.

This comes as medical experts state that there has yet to be any scientific evidence actually showing that a link is there.

Attorneys who represent the families will rely on using children as examples, showing how they were developing normally until given the vaccines containing the preservative. Autism usually develops in the first 36 months of life.

Even though no link has been found, many drug makers have been taking thimerosal out of vaccines.

    well in my opinion how can vaccine cause autism in that case all of use would have autism. peolpe be realistyic those thing can cause it.
