As of right now, there are 400 million obese people in the world, but the World Health Organization predicts that by 2015, there will be 700 million obese people, with over 2 billion overweight.

The researchers have found since these obese people eat more calories on a daily basis compared to those of normal weight, they cause more fuel to be used to transport the goods and such.

They are also less likely to exercise or walk, relying on cars all of the time which burn fuel.

The researchers concluded that if they can find some way to topple obesity and cut down the obesity rate in the world, they may have a better chance at controlling and reducing global warming.
