Kaiser Permanente is the largest HMO in the U.S., and has chosen to partner with Microsoft and their HealthVault service.

Kaiser will give patient medical to the Microsoft HealthVault, allowing patient medical history to be archived for viewing.

From here, patients will be able to access their medical records, prescription information, etc. This could cut future medical costs and give patients greater power over their own health.
