West Nile Virus Detected Yet Again In Utah

It has not even been one week since Kane County in Utah reported that the West Nile virus had been detected.  Salt Lake County is the latest victim of a West Nile outbreak..Salt Lake City (ChattahBox) – It has not even been one week since Kane County in Utah reported that the West Nile virus had been detected. Salt Lake County is the latest victim of a West Nile outbreak.

On Wednesday, it was confirmed that Salt Lake County is the location of the latest West Nile virus detection, with 6 out of 10 test pools testing positive.

These test pools are just outside of Salt Lake City.

People are being told to wear mosquito repellent as often as possible.

They are also being told to wear long-sleeved shirts and pants whenever possible.

Getting rid of standing water can also keep the population of mosquitoes down.
