Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts has signed a deal with Google Health to become the first health insurance company to take part in the new program..Boston (ChattahBox) – Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts has signed a deal with Google Health to become the first health insurance company to take part in the new program.

Google launched Google Health back in May. The service is aimed at giving more power to patients as all of their medical records and such will be placed online.

This will allow patients to look up their history, check up on diagnoses, compare doctors, etc.

The members of Blue Cross will have full access to medical records, prescription histories, etc.

This information can be accessed at any time and used to their benefit.
