The University of Mississippi researchers looked over marijuana samples and analyzed them.

What they found was that marijuana has reached a level of potency not seen in over 30 years.

Since 1983, the levels of THC in samples they managed to acquire have more than doubled.

The high the potency, the more likely it is that the marijuana can cause respiratory, cognitive and psychological issues.

I don’t quite understand, seeing as it is more potent, you are likely to smoke less to achieve the disired effects, thus reducing respiratory damage. This is no different that alcohol, as you can drink less vodka and get the same effects as drinking, say, ten beers. We shouldn’t take this information for granted, as the people who make these irrelevant claims also produced the film. “Reefer Madness,” which claimed marijuana “kills people”, and “turns you into a devil,” not to mention they convinced us into thinking there were WMD’s in Iraq.
Just look at the facts: 0 deaths have ever been caused by marijuana. 50,000 people die of alcohol related incidents, and thats annually. I’m not even going to go into how many people die from cigarettes, because I think you get the point of which substance is more dangerous than the other.
