A new study has shown that a big breakfast consisting of high carbohydrates and high protein could be just what the doctor ordered to help you lose weight..New York (ChattahBox) – A new study has shown that a big breakfast consisting of high carbohydrates and high protein could be just what the doctor ordered to help you lose weight.

The study was conducted at the Hospital de Clinicas in Caracas, Venezuela.

The study took 100 obese young women and had half eat a big breakfast consisting of high carbohydrates and high proteins, followed by a low-carb, low-calorie diet for the remainder of the day.

The other half had a small breakfast.

Researchers found that the group who ate a big breakfast lost 21% of their body weight, compared to 4.5% for the other group.

A big breakfast was shown to be key to long-term weight loss. A big breakfast proved to help curb craving for sweet and starchy foods as well.

It also boost metabolism a great deal.

The study was presented at The Endocrine Society’s 90th Annual Meeting in San Francisco on Tuesday, June 17.
