June 19, 2008

The Bush administration announced Wednesday that a new rating system is being put in place for nursing homes in the U.S.Washington (ChattahBox) – The Bush administration announced Wednesday that a new rating system is being put in place for nursing homes in the U.S.

One of the biggest problems people have when trying to decide where to send a loved one who needs to be placed into a nursing home, is how to decide which to choose.

This new rating system will rely on reviews from those who have used the nursing homes, as well as those in the industry.

The ratings wil be placed on a government Web site, giving power to those shopping around for a nursing home.

A new regulation will also require all nursing homes to have a sprinkler system by 2013.
